at Myotragus Swing Festival!

Where to stay

Looking for the perfect accomodation during Myotragus Swing Festival?

Check out Hotel Samos, where we will hold dance lessons on Saturday and Sunday, and the opening “Shimmer & Sparkle” party on Thursday evening. The hotel is also only a 10 minute walk from Sala Palmanova, where the weekend evening parties and other classes are held, making it the ideal place to stay during the festival!

And the best news? We’ve partnered with Hotel Samos to offer a discount code to all festival participants! Head over to the hotel website (www.hotelsamos.com) to book your room now! Use code MYOTRAGUS10 for a 20% discount. Please note the offer is valid for the festival dates, and subject to room availability.

What to pack

Mallorca in mid-October is still fairly warm during the day, but you might need a light jacket during the evening. We recommend you take a look at the weather forecast a few days before the festival, and pack accordingly! 😉

Here’s what you shouldn’t forget:

  • Your favourite dance shoes, of course!

  • Comfy clothes for the dance lessons

  • Spare t-shirts or tops

  • Water bottle, to stay hydrated

  • Bathing suit & flip flops, to enjoy Mallorca’s beaches

  • Trekking shoes, if you are joining the Friday excursion

  • And last but not least... loads of energy and smiles!

The welcome desk is open for check-in:

  • Thursday 22nd October, from 20:00 to 22:30 at Hotel Samos

Mix & Match

To join the competition, sign up at the registration desk in Sala Palmanova on Friday 23rd October at 20:00. Here we will hand out your number and will host a preliminary phase from 20:00 to 21:00, to select the finalists.

The finals and award ceremony will take place in Sala Palmanova during the “G.O.A.T. Party” on Saturday evening. The prizes will include Full Pass tickets to various international dance festivals with whom we have partnered.

Taster Classes and Social Dancing

These activities are free and open to all who would like to join, however please note that numbers might be limited due to the venues’ capacity, so priority will be given to festival participants (Full Pass & Party Pass owners).

Code of conduct

At Myotragus Swing Festival, we promote an inclusive and respectful environment.

If you witness any behaviour that makes you uncomfortable or should be brought to our attention, you can refer to our designated volunteers. You can recognize them from the purple wristband they’ll be wearing.

Here are some rules and suggestions to ensure the festival is a safe and enjoyable space for all:

  • Dancers of all levels are welcome! Whether you’ve just started moving your first swing steps or are a true pro, please make sure everyone feels included, and share the joy of dancing!

  • If you’d like to dance with someone, take the initiative and invite them politely.
Remember: everyone has the right to say no to a dance for whatever reason. Don’t take it personally and be gracious.

  • Dance with a smile, and always thank your dance partner at the end of a song.

  • The dancefloor is for dancing! No food or drinks on the dancefloor, and please remember to stand to the side whenever you’re not dancing, to leave room for your fellow dancers and avoid potential injuries.

  • Be mindful of others on the dancefloor: make sure there’s enough room around you before each stretch or swing out! If you bump into someone, be polite and apologise.

  • Dance parties and socials are for having fun! Offer suggestions and constructive critique *only* if your dance partner specifically asks you to.

  • Remember: fresh mints, deodorant, and an extra t-shirt or two are always a good idea!
